- Outstanding candidates who have passed Praxis I and II and demonstrated potential to be effective educators will be invited to participate in an interview day. Please note that not all applicants will be selected for an interview.
- The interview will consist of a sample teaching lesson, group discussion on current education issues, a writing sample, and a personal interview.
- Based on your application and interview, the selection committee will determine your selection status. If selected, participants should be prepared to teach wherever they are needed most in the New Orleans metro area.
- If you are not accepted into Teach Greater New Orleans' intensive Practitioner Program we invite you to enroll in UNO's Graduate alternate teacher certification program. In addition, the College of Education and Human Development also offers various masters' programs. For more information on these programs click here.
